About

Heather Falconer is a cultural strategist and founder based in Brooklyn, New York.

Originally from the UK, Heather’s work sits at the intersection of culture, communication, and community. In 2009 she founded British youth culture publication Spindle Magazine. During the seven years she ran the publication (2009–2016), Heather interviewed and collaborated with artists, designers, musicians, and entrepreneurs from around the world, building a global creative network that continues to inform her work today.

After selling the Spindle business in 2016, Heather moved to New York where she founded Falconer Agency, a strategic communications and market entry firm supporting British and heritage brands expanding into the United States. Through partnerships, communications strategy, retail introductions, and cultural programming, Falconer Agency helps brands establish meaningful, long-term presence in the US market.

Alongside Falconer Agency, Heather founded Hatchers, a cultural platform that convenes founders, artists, technologists, and thinkers exploring the relationship between ideas, culture, and long-term impact. Through editorial storytelling and curated gatherings, Hatchers connects creative communities with brands and institutions.

Throughout her career Heather has collaborated with global brands and organizations including Microsoft, Mastercard, Walpole, Ettinger, Isle of Harris Distillery, Bloomberg, Hyundai, Footlocker, Perrier, Converse, Kangol, and the UK Department for Business and Trade.

Passionate about education and creative development, Heather has guest lectured internationally and in 2019 wrote and led a course at the Fashion Institute of Technology titled “How to Be a Creative Director.”
